Kellogg Foundation<\/strong>, is proud to announce\u00a0Discover Haiti<\/strong>, a special cultural celebration honoring Haiti\u2019s historic participation in the\u00a0FIFA World Cup 2026<\/strong>\u00a0and highlighting the richness, resilience, creativity, and economic potential of the Haitian community.<\/p>\n

As Boston prepares to welcome Haiti to the world stage,\u00a0Discover Haiti<\/strong>\u00a0will bring together civic leaders, business partners, community advocates, cultural ambassadors, entrepreneurs, artists, families, and friends of Haiti for an afternoon of connection, celebration, and shared pride.<\/p>\n

The event will showcase Haiti beyond the headlines by celebrating Haitian culture, history, food, music, art, entrepreneurship, and community leadership. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy cultural performances, connect with Haitian-owned businesses and community partners, learn more about Haiti\u2019s legacy and global contributions, and explore meaningful ways to support Haitian communities locally, nationally, and internationally.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs Boston prepares to welcome visitors from around the world during the FIFA World Cup 2026, Discover Haiti offers a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the rich culture, history, and contributions of Haiti and the Haitian diaspora,\u201d said\u00a0James R. Colimon, Director of Global Affairs & Protocol for the City of Boston<\/strong>. \u201cThis event highlights the strength and vibrancy of Boston\u2019s Haitian community while creating opportunities for cultural exchange, economic engagement, and community connection. It reflects our shared commitment to ensuring that the World Cup leaves a lasting legacy of inclusion, partnership, and opportunity for all.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In addition to\u00a0Discover Haiti<\/strong>, the Chamber is also pleased to announce a series of\u00a0World Cup Watch Parties<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in collaboration with Haitian restaurant business members, local organizations, and community partners.<\/p>\n

Participating partners include\u00a0Marabou Caf\u00e9 in Mattapan<\/strong>,\u00a0Ambience Restaurant in Canton<\/strong>,\u00a0Soley Leve in Randolph<\/strong>, and the\u00a0Toussaint Louverture Cultural Center<\/strong>, among other Haitian-owned businesses and community institutions.
\nThe Watch Party Series is being coordinated by\u00a0Emmanuel Jean, U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce North Shore Regional Director<\/strong>, in collaboration with local restaurant partners, community organizations, and volunteers.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Watch Party Series is about more than watching soccer. It is about bringing families, businesses, seniors, young people, and community members together in a safe, festive, and culturally proud environment,\u201d said\u00a0Emmanuel Jean<\/strong>. \u201cBy partnering with Haitian-owned restaurants and community spaces, we are also helping drive visibility and economic activity for our local businesses during this historic World Cup season.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

These family-friendly watch parties will provide an opportunity for residents, fans, and supporters of Haiti to come together, enjoy the games, support local Haitian-owned businesses, and celebrate Haitian pride throughout the World Cup season.<\/p>\n

As part of the watch party experience, the\u00a0first 50 attendees at select locations will receive free appetizers<\/strong>, sponsored by the\u00a0U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong>. Free transportation will also be available for community members attending select events.
\nGuests, families, churches, community groups, senior groups, youth programs, and organizations are encouraged to\u00a0book transportation reservations by group<\/strong>\u00a0through:<\/p>\n

\nThe Chamber is also using this historic World Cup season to expand economic opportunities for Haitian-owned businesses through newly launched digital tools on\u00a0HaitianBusiness.org<\/strong>. The platform now includes a brand-new\u00a0Store Marketplace<\/strong>, allowing business owners to list and sell products directly online. This feature helps Haitian-owned businesses promote merchandise, cultural products, food items, apparel, gifts, and other offerings to a wider audience during the World Cup season and beyond.<\/p>\n

In addition,\u00a0HaitianBusiness.org<\/strong>\u00a0now offers a new\u00a0Event Tickets<\/strong>\u00a0feature, giving business owners, promoters, organizations, and community partners the ability to sell event tickets, manage registrations, and collect payments directly through the platform. These tools are designed to help Haitian-owned businesses and community organizations increase visibility, generate revenue, and better connect with customers, attendees, and supporters.<\/p>\n
