U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce President Joins Embassy of Haiti Reception in Washington, D.C.
The U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce was pleased to have its President & CEO, Dr. Hans Patrick Domercant, participate in the cocktail reception hosted by H.E. Lionel Delatour, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti to the United States, at the Embassy of Haiti in Washington, D.C., in honor of H.E. Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, Prime Minister of Haiti, and H.E. Raina Forbin, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Haiti.
The Chamber remains steadfast in its mission to empower Haitian-owned businesses and professionals across the United States, while also advancing advocacy, networking, trade, investment, and strategic business connections between the United States and Haiti. This includes supporting greater economic collaboration around key opportunities such as the HOPE framework and other initiatives that can help strengthen job creation, private-sector growth, and long-term development for Haiti and the Haitian diaspora.
During the reception, Dr. Domercant had the opportunity to engage with several distinguished leaders and dignitaries, including H.E. Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, Prime Minister of Haiti; Michael Jensen, Special Advisor to the President for Western Hemisphere Affairs; Ambassador Henry T. Wooster, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America; and Camilo Tovar, Division Chief, Caribbean III Mission Chief for Haiti at the International Monetary Fund, along with many other notable ambassadors, diplomats, officials, and Haitian community leaders, and Boston City Councilor Ruthzee Louijeune.
