“Discover Haiti is more than a cultural event. It is a moment for our community to come together, celebrate Haiti’s global presence, uplift Haitian-owned businesses, and create new opportunities during this historic World Cup season,” said Dr. Hans Patrick Domercant, President and CEO of the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce.
James R. Colimon, Director of Global Affairs & Protocol for the City of Boston, emphasized the importance of celebrating Haiti’s global moment in Boston.
“As Boston prepares to welcome visitors from around the world during the FIFA World Cup 2026, Discover Haiti offers a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the rich culture, history, and contributions of Haiti and the Haitian diaspora,” said James R. Colimon, Director of Global Affairs & Protocol for the City of Boston. “This event highlights the strength and vibrancy of Boston’s Haitian community while creating opportunities for cultural exchange, economic engagement, and community connection. It reflects our shared commitment to ensuring that the World Cup leaves a lasting legacy of inclusion, partnership, and opportunity for all.”
In addition to Discover Haiti, the Chamber is also pleased to announce a series of World Cup Watch Parties in collaboration with Haitian restaurant business members, local organizations, and community partners.
Participating partners include Marabou Café in Mattapan, Ambience Restaurant in Canton, Soley Leve in Randolph, and the Toussaint Louverture Cultural Center, among other Haitian-owned businesses and community institutions.
The Watch Party Series is being coordinated by Emmanuel Jean, U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce North Shore Regional Director, in collaboration with local restaurant partners, community organizations, and volunteers.
“The Watch Party Series is about more than watching soccer. It is about bringing families, businesses, seniors, young people, and community members together in a safe, festive, and culturally proud environment,” said Emmanuel Jean. “By partnering with Haitian-owned restaurants and community spaces, we are also helping drive visibility and economic activity for our local businesses during this historic World Cup season.”
These family-friendly watch parties will provide an opportunity for residents, fans, and supporters of Haiti to come together, enjoy the games, support local Haitian-owned businesses, and celebrate Haitian pride throughout the World Cup season.
As part of the watch party experience, the first 50 attendees at select locations will receive free appetizers, sponsored by the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce. Free transportation will also be available for community members attending select events.
Guests, families, churches, community groups, senior groups, youth programs, and organizations are encouraged to book transportation reservations by group through:

The Chamber is also using this historic World Cup season to expand economic opportunities for Haitian-owned businesses through newly launched digital tools on HaitianBusiness.org. The platform now includes a brand-new Store Marketplace, allowing business owners to list and sell products directly online. This feature helps Haitian-owned businesses promote merchandise, cultural products, food items, apparel, gifts, and other offerings to a wider audience during the World Cup season and beyond.
In addition, HaitianBusiness.org now offers a new Event Tickets feature, giving business owners, promoters, organizations, and community partners the ability to sell event tickets, manage registrations, and collect payments directly through the platform. These tools are designed to help Haitian-owned businesses and community organizations increase visibility, generate revenue, and better connect with customers, attendees, and supporters.
“These newly launched tools reflect the Chamber’s ongoing mission to strengthen Haitian entrepreneurship, increase business visibility, and create practical economic opportunities for Haitian-owned businesses across Massachusetts and beyond,” said Dr. Hans Patrick Domercant, President and CEO of the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce. “Through HaitianBusiness.org, we are giving our businesses and community partners more ways to sell products, promote events, collect payments, and grow during the World Cup season and beyond.”
Discover Haiti and the World Cup Watch Party Series will serve as meaningful platforms to strengthen cross-sector partnerships, promote positive narratives about Haiti, celebrate Haitian excellence, and create new opportunities for collaboration during the World Cup season and beyond.
