FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Second Annual Haitian American Business Summit to take place October 31, followed by the 7th Annual National Haitian American Young Professional Awards Gala on November 1 at Blue Hills Ballroom in Randolph, Massachusetts
RANDOLPH, MA — The U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is proud to announce that it is advancing a national chapter expansion initiative involving business and community leaders across 14 states. As part of this effort, several chapter leaders are currently in the enrollment and onboarding process, marking a major step in the Chamber’s mission to build a stronger national network for Haitian American businesses, entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders.
The announcement comes ahead of the Chamber’s Second Annual Haitian American Business Summit, taking place on October 31 at the Blue Hills Ballroom, formerly known as Lombardo’s, in Randolph, Massachusetts. The summit will be followed on November 1 by the Chamber’s 7th Annual National Haitian American Young Professional Awards Gala, an evening dedicated to celebrating leadership, excellence, entrepreneurship, and the growing impact of Haitian American professionals across the country.
“This is a defining moment for the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce and for Haitian American business leadership nationwide,” said Dr. Hans Patrick Domercant, President and CEO of the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce. “Our national expansion reflects a clear vision: to build a stronger, more connected economic network for Haitian American entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders. As we work with leaders across 14 states through our chapter enrollment and onboarding process, we are creating a platform that will help our community grow, collaborate, advocate, and lead at a national level.”
The Second Annual Haitian American Business Summit will bring together business owners, executives, investors, public officials, nonprofit leaders, professionals, and community stakeholders for a day of networking, panel discussions, business development opportunities, and strategic conversations focused on economic growth and collaboration within the Haitian American community.
“The Business Summit is designed to be more than a gathering. It is a space for business education, relationship-building, investment conversations, and practical opportunities for growth,” said Emmanuela Romain-Amedee, Business Summit and Awards Gala Committee Chair. “Haitian American entrepreneurs and professionals are contributing across industries, and this summit gives us a platform to organize that talent, share resources, and create stronger pathways for success.”
Following the summit, the 7th Annual National Haitian American Young Professional Awards Gala will recognize outstanding young professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders who are making meaningful contributions in business, civic engagement, education, health care, technology, arts, public service, and community development.
A major focus of this year’s announcement is the Chamber’s growing chapter network. Through this national expansion initiative, the Chamber aims to increase access to business resources, advocacy, networking opportunities, technical assistance, professional development, and regional leadership opportunities for Haitian American communities across the United States.
“As National Chapters Liaison, my focus is to help build a strong and sustainable chapter structure that reflects the needs of each region while advancing one national mission,” said Emmanuel Jean, National Chapters Liaison for the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce. “These chapters will serve as local hubs for business support, civic engagement, leadership development, and economic collaboration. This expansion effort will allow us to better serve Haitian entrepreneurs and professionals where they live, work, and build.”
Among the leaders involved in the Chamber’s chapter expansion efforts are Rachelle Antoine, representing the New York Chapter initiative, and Guerline Pierre, representing the New Jersey Chapter initiative. Both are expected to play key roles in strengthening the Chamber’s regional presence as the onboarding process continues.
“New York is home to one of the largest and most dynamic Haitian communities in the nation,” said Rachelle Antoine, New York Chapter President. “Our chapter will serve as a catalyst for economic opportunity, connecting Haitian American entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives, and emerging leaders with the partnerships, resources, and visibility they need to thrive. By building bridges across business, infrastructure, aviation, and community development, we will create new pathways for collaboration and growth.”
“South Jersey has a strong and growing Haitian business and professional community, and I am honored to help lead this important chapter initiative,” said Guerline Pierre, New Jersey Chapter President. “This opportunity is more than a title; it is a commitment to serving our community and helping build a stronger future for Haitian entrepreneurs, professionals, business owners, and young leaders throughout South Jersey. My vision is to create a thriving Haitian business network that promotes collaboration, mentorship, economic empowerment, innovation, and community partnerships.”
As part of its commitment to building a collaborative national network, the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce also recognizes the leadership of established and emerging Haitian business organizations across the country. Among them is the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Connecticut, which continues to advance entrepreneurship and strengthen economic opportunities throughout Connecticut while supporting national collaboration.
“This expansion reflects what is possible when Haitian business leaders work together beyond state lines,” said Francise Jean-Louis, President of the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Connecticut. “Connecticut is proud to be part of this growing national network, and we look forward to building stronger partnerships, creating new opportunities, and helping entrepreneurs succeed together.”
The U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce invites business leaders, sponsors, partners, professionals, entrepreneurs, young leaders, and community members to participate in this important two-day gathering focused on economic development, leadership recognition, and national unity.
