A WEEKEND OF UNITY, LEADERSHIP & HAITIAN EXCELLENCE!
A Heartfelt Thank You from the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce
What an incredible weekend!
On behalf of the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce, our Board of Directors, and our entire team, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made our 2nd Annual Haitian American Business Summit on October 31 and 7th Annual Haitian American Young Professional Awards Gala on November 1, 2026, such a success!
For two unforgettable days in Randolph, Massachusetts, we brought together government officials, business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, and members of the Haitian diaspora from across the United States, Haiti, and abroad.
Saturday was about Haiti’s future. Sunday was about celebrating the leaders helping shape that future.
Both events reminded us that despite the challenges facing Haiti and our communities, we have the talent, determination, and collective strength to make a difference when we come together.
To Our Distinguished Delegation from Haiti and Abroad
We were especially honored to welcome His Excellency James Monazard, Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Haiti, whose participation reinforced the importance of strengthening cooperation between Haiti’s government, private sector, and diaspora.
Our sincere appreciation goes to the distinguished leaders who traveled to join us, including:
Andress Appolon — President of AmCham Haiti
Ralph Edmond — President of CCIO
Martine Laroche-Cuvilly — Vice President and Honorary President of CCIO
Sophia Joseph Riboul — Executive Director of ADIH
Nathalie Hermantin — Representing the CODEVI industrial ecosystem

Thank you for traveling, sharing your expertise, and contributing to meaningful conversations about investment, trade, manufacturing, entrepreneurship, and job creation in Haiti. Your presence and commitment meant so much to us.
A Summit Focused on Solutions and Economic Opportunities
Under the theme “Rebuilding Haiti Through Business, Trade & Diaspora Leadership,” our Summit brought together leaders to discuss some of Haiti’s most pressing challenges and opportunities.
From elections, governance, and security to economic recovery, U.S.–Haiti trade, investment, access to capital, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, TPS, immigration, mental health, and diaspora leadership, our discussions focused on how we can move from conversation to action.
As our President and CEO, Dr. Hans Patrick Domercant, emphasized during his opening remarks, rebuilding Haiti requires political stability, security, stronger institutions, investment, and a shared commitment to creating opportunities for our people.
No single conference can solve Haiti’s challenges, but every meaningful partnership and business connection can bring us closer to solutions.
Thank You to Our Keynote Speakers, Moderators, and Panelists
We extend special appreciation to our Summit keynote speaker, Richard Coles, for sharing his vision for Haiti’s future through his Haiti 2055 initiative, and to all our moderators, panelists, and presenters for their valuable contributions.

To every speaker and contributor, thank you for sharing your knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. You helped make this Summit a meaningful platform for dialogue, collaboration, and new possibilities.
Introducing the Haitian Business Trade Exchange
One of the exciting milestones of this year’s Summit was the introduction of the Haitian Business Trade Exchange, an initiative designed to strengthen trade connections between Haiti, the United States, and the global diaspora.
Through www.HaitianBusiness.org, we aim to connect Haitian manufacturers, exporters, suppliers, buyers, distributors, and investors through business matchmaking, sourcing opportunities, and international partnerships.
We invite entrepreneurs, businesses, and investors to explore the platform, and encourage chambers of commerce, trade associations, and economic development organizations to join us as strategic partners.
Together, we can help open new markets, promote Made-in-Haiti products, and create lasting economic opportunities.
A Special Recognition from the City of Boston
We were deeply honored to receive an official proclamation from Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, declaring October 31, 2026, Haitian American Business Summit Day in the City of Boston.
The proclamation was formally presented to our President and CEO, Dr. Hans Patrick Domercant, by James Reginald Colimon, MBA, Director of Global Affairs and Protocol for the City of Boston.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Mayor Wu, Mr. Colimon, and the City of Boston for this meaningful recognition of the contributions of Haitian American entrepreneurs, professionals, and business leaders to our communities.
We also thank Randolph Town Manager Brian P. Howard for joining us and delivering opening remarks at the Summit.

To everyone who attended, traveled, purchased tickets, supported our finalists, or helped spread the word, thank you for showing up and believing in our vision!
This Is Only the Beginning!
As we reflect on this unforgettable weekend, one thing is clear: the true measure of our success is not simply what happened during these two days, but what we do next.
The connections we made must lead to partnerships. The conversations we started must inspire action. And the leaders we celebrated must continue to find opportunities to grow and succeed.
Through initiatives like the Haitian Business Trade Exchange, our expanding national chapters, and continued collaboration with Haiti’s private sector and diaspora organizations, we remain committed to turning ideas into real economic opportunities.
We believe rebuilding Haiti requires the collective efforts of government, businesses, civil society, and the diaspora.
No one can do it alone. But together, we can make a difference.
To everyone who made this weekend possible, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
We are grateful, inspired, and more committed than ever to the work ahead.
Together, we are stronger. Together, we create opportunities. Together, we can help build a brighter future for Haiti and the Haitian diaspora.
